Young Willamette Writers End of Year Celebration

June 6, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

What a great year we’ve had! We’ve heard from writers, editors, and agents. We’ve studied picture books and graphic novels. We’ve learned about pitfalls and fight scenes. Now we’ll have an evening to hear from each other! Bring a sample of what you’re working on to share with the group. We love to find out what each other is writing, and the variety is always very fun.

Snacks, laughs, and sharing. Whether you’ve been coming for years, or you’re brand new, we hope to see you there!

Young Willamette Writers in Portland meets at the same time and place as the adult Willamette Writers meetings, normally on the first Tuesday of the month from September through June. We meet from 7 – 8 pm at The Old Church in downtown Portland at SW 11th and Clay.

Please understand that schedules can change and we do our best to keep you informed.

Interested? We welcome any students from 5th to 10th grade. Join us! There is no cost, no application, no special permission.
