“Mindset Mastery: Overcome Your Stopping Points” with Michael Michel

January 5, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

$10

On Thursday, January 5th, join the Mid-Valley chapter in Eugene to welcome the new year with some writing sprints from coach Michael.

Mindset Mastery: Overcome Your Stopping Points

In just over an hour, those attending this event will learn a new way of approaching their writing projects so they can produce the results they’d love and do so with clarity, focus, ease, and grace. Imagine for a moment what it would be like to discover that all of your best and juiciest “stories,” about how it won’t work out for you as a writer aren’t true. Not only that, but you might also discover exactly HOW you get in your own way. We’ll also look at a new way of seeing problems and setbacks which will allow you to step more fully into the vision and meaning you want for your life. Wouldn’t that be the best? Enjoying EVERY aspect of the writing process!

After this dynamic and interactive talk, you’ll walk away with greater connection to your work and vision, a gentler approach to your self as a writer, and a way of seeing through your problems, confusion, and suffering so you can see into the heart of what you’re truly about. If you want to karate chop your writer’s block, this is one great way to do it.

About Our Speaker – Coach Michael

Michael Michel helps people go for what they’re passionate about so they can make the impact they’re here to make. He has worked with youth and educators across Oregon to create empowered classrooms and cultivate the inherent creativity, passion, and dedication every individual has for the things that are meaningful to them. Although he prefers to partner with creatives (authors, artists, etc.) and youth workers, Michael works with anyone who is a great fit, and currently serves clients passionate about: green business, medicine, poetry/writing, music, education, speech, art, business ownership, yoga, and of course youth work.

Besides being a published author of short fiction and a table tennis enthusiast, Michael has an MA in school counseling, a teaching certification in Neurolinguistic Programming, and is trained as a coach through the Academy for Coaching Excellence. He has brought coaching into dozens of classrooms, and delivered workshops to hundreds of youth and youth workers. Through this journey of service, he has come to see, with SUCH staggering clarity, a singular truth: everyone wants their goals and dreams to make a difference.

Michael supports anyone he coaches to do just that. Join him in changing the world, one dream at a time.
