Paths to Publication with Midge Raymond

In the morning (10AM-noon) Midge Raymond will be outlining the various paths to publishing with a focus on the traditional route. Includling important tips for how to submit to agents and editors; finding the right agent/editor for your book; and what agents/editors expect.

Then in the afternoon workshop (1:30-3:30) we will discuss the finer points of submitting to agents and editors, including how to craft a good query letter and how to create a solid synopsis, both of which are a vital first step toward publication. We will look at sample query letters and synopses, and please feel free to bring your own query letter or synopsis for critique if time allows.
