Salem: Fictional Perspectives with Eric Witchey

September 18 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Fictional Perspectives with Eric Witchey

Award-winning writer Eric Witchey will present a short discussion of the nature of point of view and how and why writers take such pains to manage it carefully. The discussion will include a group exercise reminiscent of the point of view experiments of Robert Coover. If participants would like to review Coover, “The Elevator” and “The Babysitter” are good stories to read for context for the seminar. A handout capturing the content of the seminar will be provided.
