Running a Critique Group the 9Bridges Way

Presented by Vargus Pike, 9Bridges Chairman

Monday, February 15, 2016
6:30–8:30 PM
First Presbyterian Church (corner of 9th St. & Monroe)
Dennis Hall (enter the main door on 9th and turn left)
114 SW 8th Street
Corvallis, OR

You’ve been asking about critique groups, and we listened.

Vargus Pike will give a short presentation explaining the 9Bridges Critique Group method to be followed by an interactive session in which the 9Bridges method will be put into practice.

Come and take advantage of this unique opportunity to have professionals and peers provide feedback on your writing.

Volunteers are needed:

If you would like to participate as a reader during the exercise, please bring a two page double-spaced excerpt of your current work. No additional copies are needed, because the 9Bridges method has you read it aloud.

There are no restrictions in regards to style, genre, or achievement level. All that is required is a willingness to read, to listen, and to provide your insight to another’s work just as they will provide theirs to yours.

Audience Members are also needed:

Come prepared to listen and provide your insight into another’s work.
