Online: Nastashia Minto on Through the Voice of The Emotions

February 14, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Nastashia Minto – Through The Voice of The Emotions

Author Nastashia Minto will discuss how emotions move through your being and how you use them to simultaneously create texture, depth, and movement on the page. By doing so, not only can you enrich your writing, but also release them from your body. Join your Eugene and Southern Chapters for this meeting on February 14th at 7PM.

About Nastashia Minto

Nastashia Minto is the author of Naked: The Rhythm and Groove of It. The Depth and Length to It. An African American woman born in South Georgia and raised there by her grandparents. She grew up in poverty and around drugs, alcohol, and family violence. Her life experiences led her to obtain an associate degree in occupational therapy, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Nastashia, an eccentric, spiritual dream tender, has been writing since she was nine years old and has found that her writing offers her a way to not only help herself but others as well. Her work has appeared in Nailed, Gobshite Quarterly, Portland Metrozine, SUSAN The Journal, the Unchaste Anthology, Survivorlit, and Heron Clan 8. She is featured on podcasts such as feminist book club, Literary speaking, and Beyond Well with Shelia Hamilton. She is a popular featured reader in Portland and Seattle reading series including Powell’s bookstore and Seattle Folklife.
