In-Person Portland: Let of some sTEAm with Ali Shaw
November 3 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join Willamette Writers Portland for an evening of tea and creating as part of the Portland Book Festival’s Cover to Cover events! We’ll be unwinding after the weekend at the festival, and we can’t think of a better way to end the celebration. Author and executive editor Ali Shaw will lead us through a series of writing prompts aimed at helping you generate and create in a low pressure environment. We’ll be meeting in the Willamette Writers Writing Center at 3121 S. Moody Ave from 5:00 – 6:00 PM. This event is in-person only. We hope to see you there!
About Ali Shaw
Ali Shaw (she/her) thinks her love for the written word might have something to do with the pungent odor of ink from her parents’ printing press, which permeated her senses before she even knew how to read. Ali is the founder of Indigo: Editing, Design, and More, author of Write Book (Check). Now What? and Creative Leaps: 50 Jumping-Off Points for Writing, and new co-owner of BOLD Coffee & Books in Portland. She lives in the Portland area with her husband, three kids, two dogs, one cat, and an overgrown garden.
