Effective Author Marketing
Maggie will share how she grew her mailing list from 400 to 12,000 in six months. This three-hour workshop will provide instructions for driving traffic to your mailing list and qualifying the signups as true fans. Maggie will also provide ideas on how to keep your readers engaged with subsequent mailings while you are writing the next book, how to get the most active fans to be part of your street team, and how to keep everyone engaged without becoming a sleazy salesperson.
Each platform works very differently. Each serves different author goals, and each presents different audiences and reach. Learn how to how to understand the metrics each platform provides so you can measure whether your ads are effective.
About our Speaker – Maggie Lynch
Maggie is the author of 20+ published books, as well as numerous short stories and non-fiction articles. Her fiction tells stories of men and women making heroic decisions one messy moment at a time. Maggie is also the founder of Windtree Press, an independent publishing cooperative with over 150 titles among 20 authors.
Her love of lifelong-learning has garnered degrees in psychology, counseling, computer science, and education; and led to opportunities to consult in Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. Since 2013, Maggie and her musician husband have settled in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where she now enjoys the luxury of writing full-time. Her adult fiction spans romance, suspense, and SF titles under the name Maggie Jaimeson. She writes YA under the name Maggie Faire. Her non-fiction titles are found under Maggie McVay Lynch.
