Build a World From Scratch with Jordan Ifueko

January 2 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

World building can sometimes be the best part of fiction writing. Jordan Ifueko’s novel, “Raybearer,” has been praised by Kirkus reviews as “A fresh, phenomenal fantasy that begs readers to revel in its brilliant world.”

We get to welcome Jordan, an ex-Oregonian, to our Young Willamette Writers meeting on Saturday, January 2, via Zoom.

Jordan will be leading us in an interactive discussion in which each participant gets to lay the foundation of their very own fantasy or dystopian setting. By the end, each person will emerge with the building blocks of a brand new world of their own.

All students age 13-18 are welcome to join our free meetings. If you are new to our group, please have a parent email yww@willamettewriters.org to ask for the Zoom link.

We hope to see you there!
