Book Publishing 101: Traditional, On Your Own or Hybrid?

February 22, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

How do you get a book published?

Sue Fagalde Lick will offer the nitty-gritty answers in “Book Publishing 101” at the Feb. 22 joint meeting of Willamette Writers’ Coast and Corvallis chapters.

The meeting, which starts at 6:30 p.m. will be presented online via Zoom.

Lick, author of 11 published books, will discuss the differences between traditional publishing, hybrid publishing and self-publishing, how to approach each one, and how to decide which path is right for your book. With experience in all three methods of publishing, she will share the advantages and disadvantages of each method and the hard truths about money, sales, and marketing.
