Kate Sullivan is an editor, content strategist, and entrepreneur who’s been rolling up her sleeves in all aspects of the publishing industry, from editorial to design to marketing, for more than 12 years. In that time, she’s edited more than 50 million words, ranging from web copy and business books to award-winning novels. Kate has run several national magazines on various subjects; worked in the daily news industry; and served as the editor-in-chief for a small fiction press while doing book design for several others.
As a publishing consultant and startup specialist, she has been a regular featured speaker at the Independent Publishers of New England annual conferences, discussing best practices in book design and business development for authors. She also regularly speaks at academic conferences on topics related to business and design psychology.
