Laura Mazer

Laura Mazer is the executive editor of Seal Press, an imprint of Hachette Book Group, where she acquires and edits books like the bestselling titles So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo and From Cradle to Stage by Virginia Hanlon Grohl. Before joining Seal Press, Mazer was the managing editor of literary publisher Counterpoint and its imprint Soft Skull Press. Before joining the book industry, she edited newspaper columns for nationally published writers like Hillary Clinton, Arianna Huffington, Molly Ivins, and Ann Landers. She lives in Oakland.
