Live Auction

Join us for our first ever Live Auction! We’ve got three very special packages to share with you this year. The bidding starts at 5:00 p.m., so grab your seat and raise your hand on these amazing items. All proceeds from the silent auction and live auction will go directly back to Willamette Writers and the programming you love. These items were donated by businesses and friends, so raise your hand and support Willamette Writers with a donation this year!

Writer’s Group Getaway

Grab your writer’s group and getaway with a weekend on the Columbia! You’ll stay at Inn at the Gorge in Hood River, for two nights of critique and conversation. Once you writing brains are tapped, you will head to Phelps Creek Winery for a tasting. This package is perfect for four writers (wine glasses and journals included!).

Writer’s Retreat

Take a weekend away from it all with our retreat at Sylvia Beach Hotel. You’ll stay for two nights at this literary-themed boutique hotel, then skip away for dinner at Nana’s Irish Pub. And don’t worry — we’ve got coffee cards to keep you caffeinated and a spa basket to relax your worries away!

Date Night

Have you spent too much time with your computer and not enough with your wife? Is your husband or lover staring down at your journal with a look of longing in their eyes? This is your chance to put your pens away and take them out for a night they won’t forget — or four! This package includes a daytime trip to Pittock Mansion, two tickets to the Lan Su Chinese Garden, and a date night at the Portland Playhouse. And when you really need to get away, you can bring your date (or best friend!) to the Oregon Garden Resort for an overnight stay. Raise your hand and bid on love at this year’s Live Auction!
