Are you getting your screenplay produced?  Congratulations, and beware!  Introducing your art into the marketplace, collaborating with other artists, brings with it the potential for legal conflicts.  As writers, we want to protect our creation, and to avoid pitfalls on the way to the big (or little) screen.  We’ll discuss the most common issues to consider, whether dealing with a producer who wants to option your script, or managing the risks if you’re taking the plunge and producing your own film.

Presented on behalf of Oregon Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts
