Inside the Television Writers Room

Date:
Saturday, August 3
Time:
9:00 am - 10:30 am
St. Helen’s C
Your dream has come true. After years of grinding you have finally got staffed! But then the fear sets in. What’s it like in the writers’ room? How should I behave? Am I talking too much or not enough? This workshop pulls back the curtain on this elusive world. All of your questions on the dos and don’ts of being in a writers’ room will be answered, and you will also get to experience what it’s like to “break” a story. The spirit of this workshop is to learn and have fun, but more importantly you’ll get insight into your future career and who you’ll be in the room.
