Flavor It Up! Add Pizzazz to Your Writing Through Food References
Food can be a magnificent tool for developing plot and character, creating subtext in a novel or memoir, and enhancing the depth of your writing. In this workshop, we’ll discuss how to sensuously describe a meal, a cooking scene, the ambience of a restaurant—and learn to determine how much description is enough. We’ll study examples from published authors and will do some fun exercises to hone our skills. You’ll leave ready to make more food references in your own writing.
