Crafting Killer Loglines and Queries
Class will cover different strategies for constructing proper loglines and query letters, what to include and what not to include, the difference between loglines and taglines, what execs are looking for in each, and how to write ones that grab attention and sell! Writers will get easy-to-follow, simple formulas for successful loglines and query letters and see samples of each. Writers should bring their loglines with them and we will rework them in class! Will also include handouts with Logline samples from Hollywood films that writers can use and learn from.
