In today’s publishing world, a writer’s online platform is more important than ever. Join Lorelle VanFossen on a journey to understanding the art of online presence: from the basics of creating and maintaining a site, to understanding web standards, to integrating into social media and web publishing. Laptop computers or tablets are optional, but highly encouraged to bring for this presentation.
Workshop: “Finding Stories & Writing For the Web”
1:30 – 3:30 p.m. $25.00 for members, $30.00 for guests ($35 for whole day)
After learning the basics of a writer’s online presence and social media, participants will be given practical guidance in hunting for stories, writing for the web, and having some fun along the way. Please bring along your laptop or tablet, as this will be a hands-on workshop.
