About Our Speaker – ​Emily Grosvenor

​Emily Grosvenor is the author of Tessalation!, a children’s math picture book funded by a Kickstarter community in March of 2016. She is a magazine writer based on Oregon, a columnist, essayist and blogger whose work has been featured in The Atlantic, Good Housekeeping, Sunset, Publishers Weekly, on Salon.com and other places great writing gets read. She is the founder of WordStudio, a writing workshop series in McMinnville, Oregon, and teaches journalism at Linfield College. Follow her on Twitter @emilygrosvenor.
