Central Point City Hall Council Chambers
140 S. Third Street, Central Point
Morning Presentation: “A Look at Story Structure”
10:00 a.m. to noon. Free to members, $10 visitors

Story structure is one of those things you know you need, but you may not know how to make work. In this presentation, you will learn what story structure is, how it works, and see a full deconstruction of the story structure for the novel, Remember Me? by bestselling author Sophie Kinsella.

Afternoon Workshop: “How to Build a Novel”
1:30 to 3:30 p.m. $25 for members, $30 for guests ($35 for whole day)
Bring a one- or two-page synopsis of your story and learn how to develop that synopsis into the specific structure points you will need to make your story work. You’ll leave this hands-on workshop with your plot points mapped out, as well as useful take-home handouts.

1. Find out if your synopsis holds up as a story
2. Develop and strengthen your story structure
3. Rewrite your synopsis based on your new structure

Preregistration is not necessary. For more information email soww77@gmail.com or visit www.willamettewriters.com/southernoregon.
