Wander, a novel by Lori Tobias, launches August 29 from Red Hen Press imprint Boreal Books. Wander is a tale about love, loss and betrayal set in the frigid wild of Alaska, where a young news reporter faces the winter alone, discovering too late that the biggest threat lies not in the harsh landscape around her, but in her own fickle heart. Lori will give a reading at the Newport Public Library Aug. 28 at 2 p.m.; at the Cornelia Street Cafe in New York Sept. 14, in Hershey, PA at The Perking Point Sept. 17 and at the Hoffman Center for Arts in Manzanita Oct. 21. More Oregon dates will follow.
